This small haven for expression, my blog, where my ideas explore numerous aspects of life’s magnificent beauty and highlights the incredibly special people in my life like my Step Mom, Debbie. I would like to dedicate this post to you, Deb on your Birthday! I cannot forget how much I appreciate you being a Step Mom who really cares, one who has continuously has gone out of her way to be there to help out my brother and I.
You not only accepted my Dad’s hand in marriage but you graciously accepted the responsibility of being a second Mom to my brother and I. My brother and I have not always made it easy on you because stubborn boys are a hand full that tests every bit of patience and dedication within your soul.
Through thick and thin, you have been there to lift my spirits, allowing me to appreciate the love of family; you have created the opportunity for family to come together, grow through loving participation with each other’s lives, developing unification. Whatever happens in life, I know that we will be together as a family to take on the world as one.
It takes a dedicated and loving person to go above and beyond the call of duty as a Step Mom. You have a heart of gold, and became a significant part of the family; you wanted to make a positive difference to our lives and touched my heart in the process.
No matter the challenge involved with fixing a problem or issue, you step up and assist in helping me overcome a problem that I’m struggling with. To have you in our lives is a blessing and it means the world to me that you stuck with us all these years. You are an amazing person.
You are a gem to my life and the love within your heart brings out the best in me. Thank you for being a part of my life and thank you for being there for me when I needed you the most. The love that dwells in my heart for you will always hold a special place full of wonderful memories.
Happy Birthday, Deb!
Words cannot express how blessed I am to be brought into this world by the most caring, sweetest, loving, dedicated Mom you will find. It amazes me every day how caring my Mom is to everyone around her and especially to those she loves. Whenever I spend time with you Mom, you brighten my soul and whole being.
The time with you is priceless and unforgettable, I cherish every moment with you, Mom. Your easygoing, positive personality is a breath of fresh air in this world full of drama. You give me tremendous strength through your kind soul and the many obstacles you’ve overcome in your life. You make me proud, Mom. I know deep down in my heart that my Mom loves my brother and I with all her heart and soul.
Everything my Mom has ever done has always been in the best interests of my brother and I; Mom is the most selfless person I have ever known. The toughest decision my Mom has ever had to make was when my brother and I stayed to live with our Dad in Carpinteria after our parents divorce. My Mom knew that the school system in Carpinteria was leagues above Lake Isabella and the area was more suited to meet the needs of my brother and I. The three-hour difference was tough but my brother and I got to see our Mom on a fairly regular basis.
As a parent you have to make difficult choices, to make sacrifices, and put your kids before your own wants and desires. My Mom made the best decision for my brother and I. Going to school in Carpinteria saved me from disappointment and frustration in my life because the accommodations made for my physical limitations were amazing in the Carpinteria School District. The fact is that were it not for the loving dedication of my parents, I would not be the man I am today.
You mean the world to me, Mom. Thank you for making my world a beautiful place and thank you for always being there for me. You are a true blessing to my life; the grace of your presence brings a smile to my face. Whenever life gets me down, thinking of you always lifts my spirits. I love you with all my heart.
Happy Birthday, Mom!
I have survived 28 years of continuous learning and overcoming all adversity; I am a better person because of it. Despite 9/11, global warming, global cooling, pollution, H1N1, Auto-Tunes, the end of the world, and having Obama in office, I am still here in this great country of ours. God bless the U.S.A! This life has brought me many blessings and I would not change it for the world.
I made it to the big 28 and I feel 28 years wiser, focused, and determined to get more enjoyment and meaning out of life. The twinkle in my eye has brightened and the energy dwelling within my heart and soul will never dim, only prosper beyond belief. No obstacle or challenge will tie me down or stop me from reaching greatness within my soul.
I have too much heart and determination in me to go down without a fight. I have a Spartan army on my side. At the end of the day, my shield and sword will remain raised high above my head towards the heavens. Nothing can stop me because God is on my side and my family and friends have my back. You all give me strength and courage way beyond my greatest expectations. I am grateful to have you all you in my life, you are my heroes. I salute you all proudly.
My intense passion for life and writing has got me thinking positively about all the great adventures that are in my future; the world is at my fingertips. I am more awake than I ever have been in years. There will be many more great epic moments with my family and friends with amazing things ahead of us; The 28 milestone is my new lucky number.
I know my 28th year on this planet will be the best because my life will take significant, positive new directions. Amazing things are in the works, no stone will be left unturned, and no problems will be left unsolved.
