The Heroic Story of Kayla Mueller

You must hear the true story Kayla Mueller to show you how love and courage prevails in the face of evil. This story may shock you. It will also humble you and open your eyes to the atrocities committed by the Islamic State (ISIS). Kayla Mueller is a courageous American hero who stood on principles. Kayla was a twenty-six year old humanitarian aid worker from Prescott, Arizona. She gave her life to helping others. We must never forget her.

Kayla was helping Syrian refugees in southern Turkey. On August 4, 2013, ISIS captured her on her way to a Spanish Doctors Without Borders. The hospital is in Aleppo, northwest Syria. Abu Bakr-al Baghdadi enslaved and imprisoned her. Baghdadi calls himself Caliph Ibrahim, self-proclaimed successor to the Prophet Muhammad.

Early 2014, ISIS held Kayla along with other Western captives at a prison camp at Uqayrishah. It’s near Raqqa in north central Syria. Before Delta Force could rescue them, they relocated them to separate locations.

Four girls were held together. Kayla, another American humanitarian worker, a fourteen year old Yazidi girl and her sister. ISIS has enslaved about 3,500 Yazidi women and children into sex slavery. ISIS militants kept all four girls in a room and would repeatedly abuse them. Abu Baghdadi wanted to make an example of Kayla. He’d take her to his room, rape her, and tell the other girls what monstrous things he did to her.

Kayla’s compassion and love for others is what drove her. She couldn’t abandon or endanger her sisters. She turned down an opportunity to escape. Her fellow American captive was in no condition to escape and Kayla couldn’t leave her behind.

The two Yazidi sisters were about to make their escape but Kayla refused to join them. She feared that her appearance would put them in danger. Her mother instinct was to protect her sisters by putting their lives before her own.

ISIS wanted to make an example of her and break her through abuse. The strength of her heart was unbreakable. “I am not breaking down and I will not give in no matter how long it takes.” Kayla’s character is incredible. “I have come to see that there is good in every situation, sometimes we just have to look for it.” It takes a lot of courage to remain positive under horrific circumstances.

The horror she endured was no match for the love in her heart for others. “If I have suffered at all, it is only in knowing how much suffering I have put you all through. I will never ask you to forgive me as I do not deserve forgiveness.”

ISIS announced Kayla’s death on Feb. 6. Kayla was twenty-six when she was executed by heartless monsters. ISIS blamed her death on a Jordanian airstrike. They provided her family photographs of her corpse a few days later.

Kayla Mueller was a hero in every sense of the word. Her courage and sacrifice for her fellow human beings will remain in our hearts forever.

“I pray each each day you have felt a certain closeness and surrender to God and have formed a bond of love and support amongst one another.”

Let’s honor Kayla’s memory by uniting and loving one another. The love and hope in her heart emanates from her immense faith in God. We can learn a lot from her faith.

How much longer will we deny that evil exists and turn a blind eye to human suffering?

It’s time to wake up! We must do something to help our brothers and sisters who face death at the hands of the Islamic State.

Life is not a fairy tale. The Islamic extremists our slaughtering Christians and those whose who don’t convert. They’ve also enslaved thousands of women and children. We must confront evil and call it by it’s name.

While we are comfortable and silent, evil is flourishing. Comfort breeds illusion and lies. Truth and facts are more powerful than opinion.

Our own government denies the connection of the terrorist groups with Islam. They also refuse to give the Christians who face death asylum on our soil.

Here’s what we can do help our brothers and sisters who face death:

  • Spread the word and bring awareness to all Americans.
  • Raise millions of dollars to save these families and bring them to our shores.
  • Donate to the Nazarene Fund:

Will you stand united against evil to help our brothers and sisters who face death?

American Sniper, American Hero

In America, we get to experience the benefits of free speech thanks to the 1st Amendment and those who’ve bled to defend our freedom. The right to free speech reveals the true depths of an individual’s intelligence and character. You learn if a person is honorable and intelligent or ignorant and suffer from the douchebag complex.

Martin Luther King Jr. said it best, “Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.”

The Ignorant Human Award of the Year goes to…

“My uncle killed by sniper in WW2. We were taught snipers are cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren’t heroes. And invaders r worse.” Michael Moore

Courage is not sitting on your fat ass benching doughnuts and talking shit about American heroes.

You question courage and character of soldiers who put their life on the line to protect our way of life, yet, they’re the cowards.

What have you done for your country or fellow man, Mr. Moore?

Cowards are the ones that criticize those who have the courage to fight to defend our freedom. They spread lies, ignorance, and hate.

American snipers are heroes who protect lives on the battlefield.

Heroes don’t label themselves as such because their actions speak louder than words. Heroes don’t complain about the jobs they must do. They don’t hesitate to put their lives on the line and fight for their brother to the end. Soldiers don’t enjoy killing other human beings. They kill to protect their brothers next to them, return to their families, and protect the American way of life. That’s a hero with a courageous spirit.

The sacrifices of a sniper allow families to reunite with their loved ones. They protect their brothers in arms from unseen enemies. Snipers also prevent collateral damage so civilians don’t end up in the crossfire.

Evil knows no bounds in this brutal world where the enemy uses woman and children as human shields and weapons. They have no respect for human life. As long as evil exists in this world, war will be unavoidable.

It’s the courage of those who’ll fight for our freedom that allow us the freedoms we enjoy on a daily basis. Its an honor to be an American and serve your country.

If you’ve got a problem with America and it’s heroes, nobody said you have to stay.

Show some respect for the sacrifices of our soldiers!

Take a minute to learn from the important lessons of history before you disrespect American heroes.

Many Americans died for Independence from the tyranny of British rule. America became the greatest country in the world because we stuck to our principles and foundations. It’s based on the principles of the Judeo-Christian faith and God’s love. In God We Trust. America is about freedom, liberty, justice, and unity.

How much do you love the freedoms in America and appreciate the sacrifices of our soldiers?

Let us not forget the principles this amazing country of the Red, White, and Blue was founded upon!

Less freedom from governmental control is not the right direction for this beautiful country.

My heart aches with the world for the loss of the many children and the heroes who sacrificed themselves to save the lives of innocent children from the cowardly, mindless slaughter by a madman.

My prayers go out for the families who lost sons and daughters in the horrific events that occurred in Connecticut.

I will never be able to put a word to express how upset I feel when the loss of so many children are taken from this world by the hand of evil.

Why must this world be this vicious and hateful?

It’s true that their needs to be something put in place to make it more difficult for a psycho or mentally unstable person to get access to guns but how would you accomplish that?

I still can’t believe the young killer’s mother would have all those guns easily accessible to him unless there is more to the story.

Taking all the guns away from citizens is not the answer because that only leads to genocide.  History has a way of repeating itself when we don’t learn from the past.

We must arm the heroes who’ve vowed to protect the innocent!

Heroes like Dawn Hochsprung, Victoria Soto and Mary Sherlach who lost their lives protecting students in Connecticut.

The only way to stop a killer with a gun is with a gun.  If teachers and other staff don’t have a proper way to protect children from a gunman, the children of our country will be left defenseless!

Before the police authorities have a chance to respond to the threat of gunman, the slaughter has already happened.  The best offense is always a good defense.

We can arm a security force in our schools but if the threat of a gunman presents itself, you’ll only have seconds to respond.

If a gun comes out in a classroom, the teacher must have a way to neutralize the threat.

A simple baseball bat or stun gun cannot 100% guarantee the safety of school children.

President Obama is right, we should do something but we all must be smart in this defensive strategy to protect the innocent.

Gun control is a touchy subject that shouldn’t be taken lightly but it is extremely important that we understand that guns themselves are not evil and we must put in place logical defensive measures to deal with deadly threats of a psychopath.

My goal is not to push a political stance but encourage logical and realistic problem solving.

I’d appreciate your thoughts; feel free to share in the comments.

Thank you and God bless!
